Organized in 1952 as a 501(c)3 non profit. Donations in excess of dues are tax deductible.

Donors may give both monetary and physcial property to the Sanbornton Historical Society. Donors irrevocably and unconditionally give and transfer to the Sanbornton Historical Society all rights, title and interests, including all copyright, trademark and related interests in that property, subject to any mutual agreements between the donors and the SHS.

Where possible, donors are requested to discuss their proposed gifts with the SHS Governing Board prior to making their donation.
